39th Annual Scholarship Awards

Education Endowment Funds Make A Difference

Residents and staff recently gathered to celebrate the Education Awards recognizing of all three of the Foundation Funds supporting employee education: Scholarship FundLloyd Lewis Fellowship Fund and Angela Titus Scholarship Fund for Dementia Education. The blessing of these funds will provide the support for Teepa Snow Positive Approach to Care certification for two Saint John’s team members and will offer Wound Care Certification to all of Saint John’s nurses allowing for a higher level of wound care management and prevention strategies. We have deep appreciation for the many individuals who make staff education at Saint John’s a priority.

The 39th Annual Scholarship Awards recognized the academic efforts of six Saint John’s employees who were granted tuition assistance to earn future degrees and certifications. Over the last 21 academic years, 189 scholarships have been awarded totaling $267,955.  We applaud the many dreams and ambitions of our student employees and wish them every success on their academic journey.
