Safety & Training Specialist (starting wage $29.00/hr)

Full-Time / 1st Shift

• Must have a GED or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified; Bachelor’s degree preferred in Occupational & Safety or related field.
• Experience working in a senior living community is preferred.
• Must possess OSHA 30 Hour General Industry training or acquire within 1 year of employment.  Must be willing to become trained (certified) as a trainer on various equipment and processes as requested by Saint John’s. 
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must be comfortable speaking publicly in small to large groups.
• Must have the ability to adapt to changing organizational needs and be accessible to handle concerns that may arise outside regular work hours.
