Make a Lasting Statement

Members of the Legacy Society have named Saint_John's as a beneficiary in their estate plans. You are invited to become a member by assigning a bequest or designating a planned gift to any fund that speaks to your passion in life. Many residents of Saint_John's have at their fingertips a unique and effortless way to make a lasting statement of support through a residency contract refund gift. A percentage of the entrance fee that was paid upon move-in is refundable upon death or move-out. This refund, or any portion of it, can be directed to Saint_John's Communities Foundation with a simple beneficiary assignment form available through the Office of Philanthropy. An attorney is not required, nor is a change to an existing estate plan.

Each November, the Foundation hosts a luncheon to express gratitude and to honor donors – past and present – who have arranged for legacy gifts. Currently, future legacy gifts to the Foundation exceed $1 million!

What Our Residents Say

"I tell my friends and family that Saint_John's is just right for me. I am still independent but with fewer concerns than if I lived in my old home."

Bill Eastham

"Thank you to everyone in rehab for making my stay during recovery from spinal surgery a pleasant experience. After completing my therapy, my walking and joint discomforts are much improved. The food was outstanding and served with a smile. The staff was all cheerful, helpful and dedicated. It takes a crew to make everything run so smoothly"
