President & CEO of Saint_John's Communities and President of Saint_John'sCommunities Foundation. Ms. Anderson joined Saint_John's in 1996 as Director of Finance, named Vice President in 2001, promoted to Communities’ President in 2011 and Foundation President in 2012. Ms. Anderson serves on boards of LeadingAge WI, the Wisconsin Health and Educational Facilities Authority and Parasol Alliance; she is a member of Novare Consortium. She holds a BBA in accounting from UW-Whitewater, is a CPA and holds a Certificate of Achievement in Professional Programs on Aging and Long Term Care from UW–Madison, and is a Certified Nursing Assistant. In her career at Saint_John's, she managed a major remodeling project and two multi-million dollar building projects. She currently leads 240 employees and serves 450 residents.
Ms. Aster joined Communities’ Board in 1999 and co-chaired the building project completed in 2004, and in 2011 became a resident. Ms. Aster earned an AB from Hollins College in Virginia and worked in marketing in NYC and in medical research at Harvard Medical School. In 1970, she relocated to Milwaukee. Other board work included: Milwaukee Repertory Theater, Faye McBeath Foundation, Planned Parenthood and University School. She graduated in 1999 from the Medical College of Wisconsin with a master’s in Bioethics, is a member of Saint John’s Ethics Committee with past service to other ethics committees. She joined the Foundation Board in 2016—proud to be part of the effort to enrich the lives of Saint_John's residents and the community it serves.
Mr. Bosworth is a resident who joined the Board in 2021. He spent most of his career as an investment counselor managing multi-asset portfolios for individuals, families and institutions. After graduation from Amherst College, cum laude in economics in 1963, he spent two years as a multi-industry research analyst with Standard & Poor’s Corporation in NYC, two years at the Amos Tuck School of Business earning his MBA in 1967 followed by three years as a securities analyst with a large Chicago investment counseling firm. He was recruited to MKE in 1970 to start Baird’s Investment Management division. Under his leadership for three decades, the division grew to over $5 billion. After his Baird retirement, he joined Red Granite Advisors with former associates; fully retiring in 2011. Mr. Bosworth is committed to stewardship management and fiduciary oversight of the Foundation.
Ms. Strout joined the Foundation Board in 2023. She currently serves as the Director of Philanthropy for Aurora Behavioral Health Services, a position she has held since January 2012. Prior to working with the Aurora Health Care Foundation, Ms. Strout held the position of Vice President of Development at Eastcastle Place and Newcastle Place. Her duties included securing donations for all areas of both senior living communities. During her tenure with Aurora, she has lead a $1.5 million campaign to build two new buildings for the drug and alcohol recovery programs, and most recently surpassed a half million dollar goal to renovate the art room at the Kradwell School which is part of Aurora Behavioral Health Services in Wauwatosa. Ms. Strout is excited to serve on the Saint John’s Communities Foundation Board and looks forward to sharing her fundraising knowledge while being dedicated to furthering the mission of Saint John’s.
Ms. Brennan joined the Board in 2009 after a nine-year appointment with the Communities Board during the 2000-2003 building project. She graduated Miami University in Oxford OH with a B.A. degree. She worked 40 years as a bookkeeper for the family insurance agency while her primary focus was a community volunteer. Board memberships included: Junior League, Woman’s Club, Nonprofit Center, Forest Home Cemetery, Vestry member / Warden of St. Christopher’s and St. Paul’s Episcopal Churches, University School Trustee. Ms. Brennan states: “My mother lived at SJOL for her final ten years and loved it. I expect to be a resident one day. It is a privilege to be part of the past, present and future of Saint_John's.”
Kirsten Hildebrand is the founder of Hildebrand Law Firm, LLC, which since 2001 has served clients through elder law, estate planning, probate, trust and estate administration, inheritance-related litigation, real estate, small business, and family law. She holds a BA from Trinity International University (‘91) in English and Journalism, a JD from The University of Wisconsin-Madison (‘96) and is slowly working towards a Certificate in Biblical Studies from Dallas Theological Seminary. Kirsten previously and currently serves on several educational and civic boards/committees. She is particularly passionate about educating and supporting people with their legal needs related to life’s transitions.
